Frikadelli Racing wants to take up the good start into the season

After the Frikadelli Racing Team had a good start into the season with the places five and 16, the team from Barweiler wants to repeat those good results on the next weekend. This time the cockpit of the #30 Porsche 911 GT3 R will be shared by Alex Müller, Felipe Fernandez Laser and team manager Klaus Abbelen. The sister-car #31 will not be deployed this weekend.

“The first race showed, that we’re on a good way, but still have a lot of work to do. So our goals for this race are to collect data for the 24 hour race and to improve our position compared to the last race”, says Abbelen who will alternate with Felipe Fernandez Laser and Alex Müller. While Müller is a regular driver on the #30 Porsche 911 GT3 R, who already competed in the first race, Laser will make his comeback in the Frikadelli Racing Team. The last time the leipziger sat in the Porsche 911 GT3 R was at the end of last year.

“I’m very happy to support the Frikadelli Racing Team in the second VLN race. The team around Klaus Abbelen and Sabine Schmitz always works great and distinguishes itself with a familiar atmosphere. I feel good here and look back on our win at VLN 3 last year with joy”, says Laser. Together with Lance David Arnold he achieved the first of two Frikadelli Racing wins in the last season back then.

Alongside the #30 Porsche 911 GT3 R the team from Barweiler will deploy the Porsche Cayman GT4 of Hendrik von Danwitz and “Jules" again. At the first race the dou achieved a good fifth place in the very competitive cup-3 class. Now they want to score a similar result.

The start if the race is on Saturday the 13th of April 2019 at 12 o'clock. Between 8:30 and 10:00 the Qualifing takes place. Qualifing and race and will be broadcasted on VLN.de.
