28.07.2020

The Frikadelli Racing driver squad will receive additional reinforcement for the next assignments at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. With Jeroen Bleekemolen, one of the most experienced and versatile long-distance pilots joins the cult racing stable from Barweiler. The Dutchman will make his debut in the "fastest meatball in the world" in the fourth round of the Nürburgring long-distance series next weekend.

"Jeroen has celebrated its successes in many different racing series around the world in recent years. With the overall victory in the 24h race at the Nürburgring in 2013 and his second place in 2014, he has also proved that he is also one of the absolute fastest drivers in the "Green Hell". I am sure that we will benefit from his incredible wealth of experience on the team side and I am very much looking forward to working with him up to and including the 24h race at the Nürburgring," says team leader Klaus Abbelen.

"My last assignment on the Nürburgring Nordschleife is a little bit behind. I last sat in the cockpit here at the 24h race in 2019. Therefore, the anticipation is eerily great to return to one of the best racetracks in the world. I have met the team of Klaus Abbelen & Sabine Schmitz several times in the paddock and make a very good impression on me. Accordingly, I am looking forward to the commitment to Frikadelli Racing and our first joint race next weekend," says Bleekemolen.

In the fourth race of the Nürburgring long-distance series, Klaus Abbelen and Jeroen Bleekemolen will share the cockpit of the #30 Porsche 911 GT3 R. The #31 Porsche 911 GT3 R and the #962 Porsche Cayman GT4 will not be used this time.
