Final spurt for Frikadelli Racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife

At the season finale of the Nürburgring endurance series, Frikadelli Racing will again be at the start with the # 30 Porsche 911 GT3 R. Team boss Klaus Abbelen will share the nine-eleven next weekend with Felipe Fernandez Laser, who had already supported the team from Barweiler in the seventh race.
“So far it has been a successful season on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, even if we were unfortunately not lucky in the 24h race. Above all, the two double victories in the third NLS run and the 6h qualification race as well as the second place overall at the season opener will remain in our memories for a long time to come. But we can also be quite satisfied with the performances after the 24-hour race in the Pro-Am category. At the last race of the season we would like to achieve another good result and round off the year on the Nürburgring Nordschleife appropriately, ”explains Klaus Abbelen.
Most recently, the Frikadelli Racing team achieved podium finishes in the Pro-Am category three times in a row. In addition, in the eighth race with pole position and many kilometers in the lead, the overall top team was once again able to convince. “With NLS 8 we have taken a giant step towards perfect performance and will try to build on that. Our driver line-up may be reinforced by a third pilot. However, this will only be decided shortly before the weekend, ”continues Abbelen.
