Frikadelli Racing wants to extend the lead in the table at the 6h race

At the 6-hour race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series next weekend, Frikadelli Racing wants to collect further important points for the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring with the #111 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup. "Jules" and Klaus Abbelen are currently leading the AM championship with a lead of 18 points. The driver duo will once again be supported by Felipe Laser.
“Our goal is to successfully defend the championship lead and, if possible, to extend it further with a win. The 6-hour race is a very important race, as 1.5 times the points are awarded for the longer race distance. A good result is therefore of enormous importance,” explains team manager Klaus Abbelen.
Frikadelli Racing was able to finish all four NLS races on the podium with the #111 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup. Third place at the start of the season was followed by two wins and a second place. Thanks to this consistency, the team from Barweiler has fought its way to the top of the drivers' championship in the AM category.
On Saturday, July 8th, 2023, the 90-minute qualifying will take place as usual (8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.). The 6-hour race will then start at 12:00 p.m. Both will be broadcast over the full length of the live stream of the Nürburgring Endurance Series.
