Frikadelli Racing wants to get back on the road to success

After the difficult, changeable Eifel weather stopped Frikadelli Racing on the way to a good result in the 12-hour race, the team of team boss Klaus Abbelen wants to get back on the road to success at the seventh round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series next weekend. Frikadelli Racing is currently still fighting for a place in the top 3 of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring.

“Of course, retiring from the 12-hour race was very unfortunate for us, mainly because the car felt extremely good and a lot would have been possible with the new setup. However, we have ticked off the weekend and are optimistic about the three remaining NLS races. Our goal is still to finish in the top 3 of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring at the end of the season. It certainly won't be easy, but we'll do everything we can to score as well as possible," explains team manager Klaus Abbelen, who, together with his driver colleague "Jules", is currently in fifth place in the AM drivers' championship. 17 points currently separate the two drivers from third place.

In implementing their plan, they will again receive support from Felipe Fernandez Laser, who will once again take the wheel of the #111 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup next weekend.

The seventh round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series on Saturday again covers the usual distance of four hours. The starting shot is at 12:00 p.m. Qualifying takes place before that from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Both will be broadcast live on the official NLS YouTube channel.
