Frikadelli Racing with a full line-up of drivers at the second NLS race

Frikadelli Racing's preparation program for the 24h Nürburgring will be continued next weekend. As part of the second round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), David Pittard, Nick Catsburg and Earl Bamber celebrate their debut in the "Green Hell" with the #30 Ferrari 296 GT3. Also in action is Felipe Laser, who this time will share the cockpit of the #111 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup with “Jules” and Klaus Abbelen.

“After the promising premiere with our new Ferrari 296 GT3, the testing work continues for us in the second NLS race. David, Nick and Earl were prevented from the opening race by a scheduling conflict, but now they are on board to gain their first experience with the new vehicle. So that we can give them as much driving time as possible, Felipe will switch to our Porsche 992 GT3 Cup for this race, since he was able to get to know the Ferrari at the start and complete a few laps,” explains team boss Klaus Abbelen.

At the start of the season, the Frikadelli Racing team managed the four-hour distance without any problems and took second place in the SP9 PRO-AM category. In addition, a first basic setup could be developed, on which it is now necessary to build further.

With the #111 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, the goal is once again to be at the forefront of the AM ranking of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring. At the first race of the season, Frikadelli Racing was able to secure pole position in qualifying and third place in the race.

Qualifying will take place on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., before the starting field will be sent on the four-hour journey through the "Green Hell" at 12:00 p.m. Both can be seen in the live stream at:
